Information for Visitors
Whilst a patient is in hospital it is important that contact with the everyday occurrences and family relationships of home are continued; to this effect Cygnet Hospital Beckton operates an open visiting policy. However, relatives and carers are asked to telephone the ward prior to visiting as circumstances may make visits difficult at times and all visits are at the discretion of the nurse in charge.
If children are likely to visit, please let the Nurse in Charge know, so that a comfortable room can be found outside the ward. The visit will be supervised by a member of staff.
