Cygnet Hospital Harrogate’s Haven Ward provides confidential assessment and treatment for a wide range of psychological conditions in a friendly, informal atmosphere.

All patients are allocated a named nurse on admission and multi-disciplinary care plans are compiled to meet individual needs.

Our patients benefit from their own private rooms which have en-suite bathrooms, television, telephone and personal safe.

We are able to help with the majority of psychological and emotional issues including:

Mood and anxiety disorders including phobias Depression Stress disorders including post traumatic and work related Psychotic illnesses Behavioural disorders Obsessive compulsive disorders Eating Disorders

Treatment

Treatment by the multi-disciplinary team consists of an individualised care plan structured around established therapies such as psychotherapy and counselling together with specialised therapies including:

• Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR)
• Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)
