Work related stress and mental health problems represent some of the biggest challenges to the Occupational Health Professional.
At Cygnet Hospital Godden Green we have developed a range of services to get staff back to working happily and effectively with the minimum of delay.
We provide a service that meets the needs of both the individual and their workplace.
We have several Consultant Psychiatrists who are specially trained in Occupational Medicine and understand the needs of individuals and employers.
Following an assessment, an individualised treatment package will be devised to ensure prompt recovery and return to work. Treatment will take the form of individual counselling, group therapy and occupational therapy to provide you with the techniques for managing stressful situations.
Our sample therapy programme will show you a selection of group therapy sessions that you may join on an ad hoc basis.
Our qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapists can also advise, train or facilitate workshops within organisations. These could include aspects like stress management, mental health promotion or raising awareness and understanding of mental health issues.
