Eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia and dieting failure affect millions of people.
We offer a highly specialised rapid assessment and treatment service (including rehabilitation) for all patients aged 16 and over with a diagnosis of eating disorders.
We view recovery as an ongoing process and our treatment programmes are designed with this in mind.
We will tailor your treatment programme dependent upon your needs and time constraints: from outpatient care to rehabilitation packages and full residential services.
Treatment
Every treatment package is developed to work at the right pace for the individual and begins with a thorough assessment of medical status and psychological and emotional needs.
We provide a full medical monitoring and therapeutic group programme, alongside individual work and family therapy. Also offered are, body image work, a normalised approach to food (to include planning, shopping, preparation and eating of meals), planned relaxation, socialisation and further education and/or voluntary/paid work – all essential in motivating change.
We offer one of the largest and most experienced multi-disciplinary team of staff which include specialist consultant psychiatrists and medical team, experienced consistent nursing team, psychodynamic, family, occupational, art and complementary therapists, dieticians and psychologists.
