Facilities and Care
Our Springside Services are exclusively designed to help people with autism or Asperger’s syndrome manage their condition, develop their life, social and communication skills and progress toward the very best future outcomes.
We have two residential services, offering short breaks and full time residential support for young people aged 5-17 years from across the North West. These services are exclusively designed to be 'autism friendly' and provide a welcoming, homely environment, where children and young people can access specialist support, develop essential skills, interact with others and fully participate in lots of fun activities. All young people are supported on at least a 1:1 basis, affording for much highly individualised direct working.
Everyone has their own room, which they can personalise as much as they like. There is also a large garden, with swings, a climbing frame and trampoline, as well as many areas inside for learning, development and having fun.
In addition, we run an outreach service for people aged 5 – 64 years with autism and Asperger's living in the North West. We provide support in individual's own homes and/or within the wider community, and offer tailored support to meet individual needs. This again is highly individualised social and practical support designed to help the individual to achieve positive outcomes and meet their aspirations.
