Jenny is a qualified RMN who cares passionately for the mentally ill. She has extensive experience both in the NHS and private sector.
Jenny left the NHS as Inpatient Services Manager for 350 beds including Forensic Services before managing the Priory Hospital Chelmsford for a period of 7 years and developed the adolescent services there. Jenny then spent 5 years developing Learning Disability Services for Care Aspirations.
Jenny is seriously committed to an effective care pathway and the development of excellence in secure mental health field.

After graduating in 2005 with a degree in Finance and Law, Joe embarked on a career as a Financial Adviser. In 2008 Joe began his time at Cygnet Health Care as a Management Trainee. During his first year Joe was based within various units to fully understand the operational running of Cygnet Health Care.
On completion of his training, Joe was then appointed as the Assistant Hospital Manager of Cygnet Hospital Bierley responsible for all non-clinical departments and the lead for CPA (Care Programme Approach) standards. Joe joined Cygnet Hospital Stevenage in June 2010.

Ruth has 10 years experience working in various mental health settings in the NHS from medium secure services to acute mental health services. She has been versatile in working in a range of roles at all levels of clinical and management expertise. In addition to being an RMN, Ruth has pursued academic studies in Health Policy and Management studies, and in Healthcare Finance. She returned to forensic mental health services in October 2010 when she joined Cygnet Hospital Stevenage as the Clinical Manager.
Ruth is passionate about delivering excellent clinical practice and providing inspirational leadership to clinical teams.

Mick has overall responsibility for patient safety and clinical risk management in accordance with the national guidance for Medium Secure Services. This includes ensuring that the hospital achieves and exceeds the required statutory obligations. Mick is an active participant in the hospital’s Clinical Governance and Risk Management strategies in enhancing service users’ care and service provision.
Mick joined the senior management team at Cygnet Hospital Stevenage in 2010. His vast experience in working in NHS enhances other facets of the service in the role of Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, participation in MAPPA and MDO panels and advancing relationship with key external agencies.

Charlotte has 5 years experience working in female secure services. She is a qualified RMN and has worked in roles ranging from Staff Nurse to Team Leader and joined the management team at Cygnet Hospital Stevenage as ward manager on Pattison ward in January 2010.
In addition to being an RMN, Charlotte is a Dialectical Behavioral Therapist and an assistant instructor in Prevention and management of violence and aggression. She has taken on an active role in teaching within the hospital and is passionate about the delivery of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy across the female services.

John qualified in 2004 at Coventry University with a BSc in Mental Health Nursing. He worked in the NHS for just under a year, in the PICU service, before entering the independent sector by joining Cygnet in Wyke in 2005. Since then John has worked in both Low and Medium Secure services.
John has helped spear-head the opening of 2 wards, LSU and MSU, in 2 different locations, and has returned to working in Cygnet Stevenage as the ward manager of the Forensic MSU in 2010.
