Martin Graham - Hospital Manager

Martin Graham is the Hospital Manager for Cygnet Hospital Harrogate, joining the team in September 2010. Martin has worked in both the NHS and Independent Sector for 30 years and has extensive management experience within medium secure, low secure and Acute Psychiatry.
Martin is keen to promote partnership working and will be strengthening relationships between the NHS and Independent Sector in the future.
Sharon Pulling - Clinical Director

Sharon Pulling is the registered manager for Cygnet Hospital Harrogate. Sharon joined Cygnet Health Care in 2000 as a staff nurse on Detox 5. Her previous posts have included a period as Ward Sister in a regional burns unit so her knowledge base in infection control and respiratory are highly valuable in Detox 5.
Since joining the team Sharon has added a diploma in Addiction studies to her master's degree. Sharon was appointed Clinical Director of the hospital in 2008.
Alan Johnson - Detox 5 Ward Manager

Alan is the Ward Manager of Detox 5. A registered general and mental health nurse, Alan has 15 years experience of working in drug and alcohol services. A trained therapist and master NLP practitioner, Alan is a strong advocate of good, holistic care for people wishing to detoxify from opiates.
He has recently joined the team at Detox 5 and is keen to forge links with other services and promote Detox 5 as a pathway to recovery.
Penny Hunt - Haven Ward Manager

Penny joined the hospital as a senior staff nurse in 2003. An experienced RMN with nearly 20 years experience she has worked for the NHS as well as the private sector in management.
Penny was promoted to Team Leader of the Acute services ward in August 2006 and became Ward Manager in August 2010. Penny has a certificate in counselling and is a qualified mentor to our trainee nursing staff.
Karen Ireland - Head of Therapies

Karen joined Cygnet Hospital Harrogate in the spring of 1989 and was one of the nursing team that commissioned the unit. Having spent several years as Ward Sister on our acute services ward Karen took the lead role for the day therapy services in 2000.
Karen has a broad experience of working in Mental Health settings and is a skilled counsellor particularly in areas of bereavement and alcohol abuse she now oversees the therapy department and provides aftercare support for previous in and outpatients of the Hospital.
Sara Golden - Hospital Services Manager

Sara joined Cygnet Hospital Harrogate in 2000 initially as a receptionist. Sara's commitment to high service standards and leadership skills has seen her rise to her current role managing the day to day housekeeping, catering and maintenance services within the hospital.
Sara is dedicated to achieving a reduced Carbon Footprint for the hospital and is always looking for new ways to accomplish this. In addition Sara is responsible for co-ordinating all statutory / mandatory training for the hospital site.
