Cygnet Lodge Brighouse has developed a solid reputation for facilitating student placements as part of their training courses or continued professional development.
We have well established links with a number of Universities and have also provided training (both off site and on our wards) to West Yorkshire Police, trainee doctors and even NHS nursing staff, in preparation for working in newly established NHS services.
Our placements are tailored to the needs of the individual and can relate to medical, nursing, therapeutic or administrative and other non-clinical roles. They can be for any duration, from days to months and because of the breadth of service provision, students can have the opportunity to work in a range of challenging and fascinating areas.
All students are provided with a full induction and will be supported throughout their time at the hospital by experienced and dedicated mentors.
