Richard Williams - Hospital Manager

Richard has worked in mental health since 1991 starting on acute admission wards in Barnsley. In 1993 he qualified from Sheffield University as a RMN returning to work in Barnsley Mental Heath Services in acute and rehabilitation care settings.
Richard joined Cygnet in February 1999 working at Detox 5 in Harrogate as a Staff Nurse, eventually achieving the position of Charge Nurse before leaving in May 2002 to work at Cygnet Hospital Wyke initially as a Senior Staff Nurse, Charge Nurse, Ward Manager, then Clinical Manager before taking on his current role as Hospital Manager.
Yvonne Morgan - Clinical Manager

After qualifying as an RMN in 1994 Yvonne gained experience working in a number of NHS secure mental health units including the medium secure Norvic Clinic where she was a senior staff nurse. In 2001 Yvonne joined Cambian Healthcare where she had the distinction of being their first registered hospital manager.
Yvonne joined Cygnet in March 2010 as a ward manager at the newly opened Cygnet Hospital Derby before being promoted Clinical Manager of Cygnet Hospital Wyke and Cygnet Lodge Brighouse.
Wayne Adams - Ward Manager

Wayne completed his nurse training in 2002 and began his nursing career working on the Acute Services in Leeds. Following this he moved to Cygnet Hospital Wyke working on Shelley Ward the Low Secure Male Rehabilitation ward. Whilst there he has progressed over the past six years to working as a Charge Nurse before recently commencing as Ward Manager at Cygnet Lodge Brighouse.
He is a young and enthusiastic member of the management team and keen to promote his skills in psychosocial interventions, CBT and therapies.
Sibongile Mbofana - Charge Nurse

Sibongile qualified in 2006 with a BSC in Mental Health Nursing from Strathclyde University in Scotland. One of her first roles was helping to develop the specialist Personality Disorder service for females at Cygnet Hospital Bierley. Sibo is an advanced practitioner in CBT and Mentalisation based therapies and is currently undertaking a Masters in Change Management.
Sibo moved to Cygnet Lodge Brighouse in November 2010 were she has enjoyed delivering meaningful therapies to promote the individual recovery process.
Cordy Askew - Art Therapist

Cordy Askew is a state registered art therapist with over 14 years post qualifying experience working with people who have mental health problems.
Cordy moved to Yorkshire in 2005 to take up a job with Cygnet. Cordy currently works at Cygnet Lodge Brighouse offering individual art therapy treatment.
Shabana Khan - Occupational Therapist

Shabana qualified as an Occupational Therapist from the University of Bradford in 2008. Her first post upon qualifying was working in a specialised deaf unit in Lancashire as a mental health OT. Shabana joined the team at Cygnet Lodge Brighouse in November 2010.
Shabana has enjoyed her experiences of working in mental health services and it gives her great pleasure to work with people to promote their health and well being.
Anne-Marie Osborne-Fitzgerald - Clinical Development Nurse

Anne-Marie Osborne-Fitzgerald started her career in 2002, at the Castle Hill Unit in Huddersfield, a NHS Low Secure Forensic Unit. Having worked her way up from Senior Staff Nurse she now holds the post of Clinical Development Nurse, working across all the Cygnet hospitals in West Yorkshire.
Anne-Marie remains passionate about all aspect of Clinical Governance. She has particular interests in staff development and clinical audit. She is committed to best patient centred care and works with the rest of the staff team to deliver high quality patient care.
