Facilities and Care
At Brighouse, we provide segregated male and female accommodation, with en-suite bedrooms on single sex floors, and spacious, single sex activity areas, and gardens. Service users can also benefit from our full range of facilities including a fully-equipped gym, art room, IT classroom and therapy kitchens.
Our aim is to help individuals live as independently as possible within a safe environment, where each service user has a fully structured, daily routine. Our multi-disciplinary team provides focus and diversion, alongside a daily activities programme, which includes budgeting, cooking and hygiene, as well as art, music and occupational therapy. While we are working to increase each person’s independence, we also provide close supervision at all times to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
Located in a quiet area of Rastrick, the unit is readily accessible by road and has ample parking space. We are also situated close to Cygnet Hospital Wyke, allowing us to access appropriate services there, as well as providing therapies on site.
