Claire joined Cygnet in 2008. Claire qualified as an RMN and started off her career in Medium secure services, she later moved to community general adult services in the Wirral but returned to Forensic services to set up a charity project in HMP Brixton. Claire returned to the NHS and managed community and Out of Area Forensic Services.
Claire's experience of working with community service users has been a driving force behind the direction of our rehabilitation services. She is responsible for all aspects of the operation of the hospital.
Sharon is a Registered General and Mental Health Nurse, who has worked in Mental Health services for 20 years.
Before joining Cygnet on 1st September 2010, She spent the previous 2 and a half years working on the Pandemic Influenza Preparedness Programme at the Department of Health as Guidance and Mental Health Manager in the NHS and Social Care team. Prior to that, she worked at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation trust, her last post there being Borough Nurse Adviser for Southwark.

Michelle studied Political Science at the University of Birmingham before joining a graduate management programme in the retail sector.
Michelle joined Cygnet in 2009 as a management trainee and is now in her second year of the scheme.
Michelle takes a leading role in managing the non-clinical services across the unit as well as being a key contact for customer care.

Caroline trained to become an Occupational Therapist at Ithaca College in New York state where she earned a MSc and BSc in Occupational Therapy. She then took a position in a community-based forensic service in San Francisco, where she worked collaboratively with the city’s innovative Behavioral Health Court (BHC) to redirect individuals with mental illness away from the criminal justice system and into mental health treatment. She worked in San Francisco for three years contributing to the development and provision of a model Recovery-Based Programme and Supported Employment Service. Caroline is delighted to bring her Recovery-Based approach to Cygnet Health in her role as Head of Occupational Therapy.
Jayne qualified as a Registered Mental Nurse in 1998 from Southbank University. Jayne started her nursing career with Redbridge healthcare trust which later became part of North East London Mental Health trust. Whilst working within NELMHT Jayne worked within their adult acute mental health services and PICU services until 2004.
Jayne joined Cygnet in 2005 working initially as a staff nurse on Cob Ward at Cygnet Hospital Beckton later moving to Cygnet Wing Blackheath where she was a team leader on Tyler Ward.
