Care Pathways

The care pathway supports and encourages service users to achieve positive personal outcomes, increase pro-social behaviours, reduce risk and improve access to the community. Treatment programmes facilitate skills development and is underpinned by the principles of cognitive behavioural, creative and psychodynamic therapy tailored to individual's intellectual functioning. The care pathway is supported by experienced and skilled multi-professionals including educational support, social work, psychology and occupational therapy working towards independent living.

Where appropriate we also work closely with Cygnet Supported Living to secure access to supported accommodation for our service users.

Admission Criteria

• Service users who require structure and consistency to support their long term recovery
• Female, aged between 18-65 years
• Detained under the MHA or informal status

Referrals

A patient assessment visit can be arranged quickly by either phoning or faxing a completed referral form. Referrers will be notified of decisions verbally and in writing within 72 hours. Download Referral Form.
