Bed Availability

Cygnet Health Care offer a national network of integrated psychiatric services for both emergency PICU and acute beds but also placements for specialist services.

The search function below allows commissioners or other interested individuals to identify available capacity within the wide range of services that Cygnet provide quickly and easily.

Bed availability is updated each working day at approximately 12pm. The availability figures can change throughout the day and at weekends, so please contact the Hospital directly if the availability is showing as zero, as a bed may become available before the database is updated.

We have agreed two standards to improve accessibility to our services:

• For emergency admissions our service standard is to respond to any referral request for PICU or acute beds within one hour of receiving appropriate clinical information. Secure transport may be available upon request.
• For placements we undertake to assess service users within 72 hours of receiving all appropriate clinical information and documentation.
