We provide high quality 24 hour residential care for individual's with Asperger's Syndrome, autism and associated conditions.
At The Springs Community we offer the benefit and support of community living whilst encouraging the growth and greatest degree of autonomy and independence possible for each resident.
Asperger's Syndrome and autism are life long conditions; the impact of the condition is unique to each individual. The care provided at The Springs Community is specifically tailored to each resident's needs.
The Springs Community provides an environment where residents can learn to manage their condition. Residents are able to develop their social communication, interaction and understanding skills which, in turn, will enable them to lead fuller and more productive lives.
Situated adjacent to the beautiful Kent coast with private beach access, The Springs Community has six different types of accommodation, each designed to offer different levels of independence. The main building and grounds are extensive allowing us to provide a wide range of in-house educational, recreational and therapeutic facilities.
Our experience of providing a residential environment exclusively for the needs of people affected by autism-related conditions has resulted in proven practices that manage the symptoms common to the continuum. The emphasis is always on the support of the individual and the management of the condition to develop skills that will improve their quality of life and degree of independence.
Admission
The Springs Community is able to provide a home for 29 residents between the ages of 16 and 65 years of age. Referrals are accepted through local authorities from all over the country for those aged between 16 and 45 years on admission
