Referrals
All individuals who access the Cygnet Springside services have a diagnosis of autism or display distinct symptomology indicative of autism.
The services are exclusively tailored to proactively work with individuals who display behaviours which can challenge and/or have conditions and disabilities associated with autistic spectrum conditions.
The Cygnet Springside Outreach Service provides support to individuals aged 5 – 64.
The Cygnet Springside Residential Short Break and Shared Care services provide support for children and young people aged 5-17 on admission.
All individuals accessing the Cygnet Springside services will have undergone an in-depth pre-service assessment; “emergency” referrals cannot be accepted into the services.
The services can be funded by Social Services, via Direct Payments or Individualised Budgets, privately or via Health or Education.
