Accessing our Services
When an enquiry is made to the services, the Springside team will meet with individuals, families, social workers or anyone else making an enquiry to discuss the services in more detail and to find out more about what support would be required.
This means that everyone involved can decide if Springside seems like the right service for the individual and whether they would like a formal referral to be made.
There is no charge for this.
A referral form can be completed by a parent/carer, social worker or other professional and can be returned to us via post or email. Click here for our referral form.
Assessment
Following referral, the next stage is our ‘pre-service assessment’. Again, there is no charge for this. The assessment allows us to determine if we would be able to positively and proactively work with an individual and to put together a baseline plan before actually providing any support.
Following this, if everyone agrees they would like Springside to support the individual, funding then needs to be established. Generally the Springside services are funded via Local Authority Disability Services either directly, or through Individualised Budgets or Direct Payments.

Our services can also be funded via health, education, or privately by individuals or their families.
In order that all provision is planned and risk assessed, unfortunately we are unable to accept emergency admissions to our services.
