Our services can be funded by Local Authorities either directly or through Individualised Budgets or Direct payments, the NHS, Education or privately by individuals or families. Transition Services - Transition is always an important part of any child and young person's development, but particularly so for children and young people with autism and/or learning disabilities, who may find changes of any sort very difficult to deal with. Associated Clinical Services

Diagnostic Assessments - Our diagnostic assessment clinic at Cygnet Hospital Harrow provides a comprehensive diagnosis and assessment for adults (18 years and above) who present with suspected features of an Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Read more>>

Low Secure Autism & Asperger's - We offer a low secure, hospital environment for male service users between 18 and 65, who have had a formal diagnosis, or display autistic traits and need further assessment. Service users may also have challenging behaviour or a forensic history, or be detained under the Mental Heath Act. Read more>>

Locked Learning Disabilities - This specialist health service for women with learning disabilities sits within a female hospital. It is designed for service users for whom mainstream provision cannot meet their needs. It is an inpatient provision to female service users, aged 18 and over with a learning disability who's challenging behavior and mental health needs require that they are detained under the Mental Health Act in a locked ward.
