We take both planned and emergency admissions. Cygnet Health Care is one of the largest providers of emergency of acute inpatient services to the NHS. These services link patients back to their community by means of a comprehensive CPA process.

An immediate appointment with a specialist consultant, leading to private, confidential and personalised treatment for most psychiatric conditions and all addictions. These services are offered by specialist clinicians for older age adults as well as children at selected sites. At Sevenoaks we provide a private inpatient facility.

Psychiatric Intensive Care
Our Psychiatric Intensive Care Units provide a
locked, low secure environment for short term care and treatment, offering a higher level of support and
supervision than on the larger acute inpatient wards. Cygnet Health Care is the largest provider of PICU
services to the NHS nationwide. For service users requiring a longer period of treatment in a locked environment, Cygnet provides a male and female
locked challenging behaviour service at Stevenage.

Locked Rehabilitation
Bridging the gap between hospital and community living, though still in a
registered hospital, we help individuals enhance their daily living skills and become more independent, so they can
return home. These step down units allow service users to continue on the pathway to recovery. These units are assisted by Cygnet Supported Living to provide access to independent accommodation.
