Rehabilitation and Social Psychiatry Faculty Trans-Pennine Meeting
Cygnet Health Care supported the Royal College of Psychiatrists in staging their annual Trans-Pennine Faculty meeting in Leeds on 28th September.
Based on the theme of "The future of Rehabilitation and Recovery focussed services", the event welcomed an audience of over 60 delegates, many more than previous years, and the day was described as "informative and engaging."
The Village Hotel South Leeds hosted the event, and providing this forum for sharing experiences, networking and learning. Delegates were pleased that they had plenty of discussion time as well as being able to listen and draw from the presentations by Dr Richard Drake (University of Manchester), Mike Firn (Chair, National Forum for Assertive Outreach), Anne-Marie Osborne-Fitzgerald (Clinical Development Nurse, Cygnet Health Care), Dr Jim Isherwood (Medical Director, NHS North Yorkshire and York) Ged McCann and Rosie Ayub (Yorkshire and Humber SCG).
