Inspirational recovery event attracts over 130 delegates
Described as "one of the most exciting conferences I have been to", the 29th June saw Cygnet Health Care's 1st Annual Drug and Alcohol Recovery Conference in Harrogate. National speakers addressed the audience with the latest innovations and ideas in the field of recovery.

The chair, Alan Johnson from Detox 5, welcomed Dr David McCartney of LEAP Project, Rebecca Daddow of RSA, Michaela Jones of Wired-in, and Dr Amal Beaini of Detox 5 amongst others, to the stage to speak.
The afternoon session started with a lively performance from the recovery Choir, the Recovery Raucous Caucus which delegates saw as a "lovely idea and what a way to promote recovery."
There was a definite converging of ideas on the best ways to 'do recovery', and general feel of optimism and a positive outlook for recovery services.
A hugely succesful and stimulating day provided a forum for networking and discussion for delegates from a variety of backgrounds - truly an "inspirational" event.
