Cygnet Hospital Harrow's Springs Unit nominated for nursing award
It is with great pleasure that we can announce that Cygnet Hospital Harrow's Springs Unit entry has been shortlisted for the Laing & Buisson Awards 2009. They will, with two others fight for the title of Best Nursing Practice and support their entry with a presentation on the 22nd May 2009.
The Springs Unit provides a unique environment within which individuals with Asperger's Syndrome or High Functioning Autism suffering from a mental illness or behavioural problems have their needs met through a person-centred approach.
This is the second year running that one of Cygnet Health Care's nursing teams have been nominated for the Best Nursing Practice Award. Hopefully The Springs Unit staff will follow in the footsteps of their New Dawn colleagues and win the prestigious award in May.
