Dr Helen Baxter joins Cygnet Hospital Ealing
Cygnet Health Care are delighted to announce that Dr Helen Baxter has joined the Eating Disorders team at Cygnet Hospital Ealing.
Dr Baxter has been a Consultant Psychiatrist since 2001. She is a General Adult Psychiatrist and was part of the team which set up the Nottingham NHS Eating Disorders Service and its first consultant from 2001-2003.
Since 2003 Dr Baxter has worked within the Independent Sector, holding out-patient clinics in Nottingham and Northampton catering for those with psychiatric disorders including eating disorders and depressive disorders. She also was the consultant for a specialist in-patient unit within St Andrew's Hospital for more than five years. This unit looked after individuals with severe Eating Disorders, often with co-morbid psychiatric illness.
Dr Baxter will begin working at Cygnet Hospital Ealing in February 2009.
