Cygnet Hospital Derby gains Investors in People Award
Cygnet Health are pleased to announce that Cygnet Hospital Derby has been granted the Investors in People Award. The award recognised the high standards achieved within the areas of staff retention, staff development, quality of service delivered and corporate requirements. The award was achieved despite the hospital having been in operation for less than 2 years. The hospital was successful in achieving the award in a two month time frame.
Investors in People is a recognised people management standard that helps the achievement of business objectives by developing and harnessing skills of employees. Which in turn delivers a positive impact on the quality service delivered to users and purchasers. Investors in People is proven to improve financial performance, productivity and profitability.
Derby's Clinical Manager, Guy Bannister, said, "the process of the assessment enabled us to look at weaknesses and strengths in systems and processes from a whole organisation perception. It is important to recognise that this award is an achievement of all staff currently employed at Cygnet Hospital Derby."
