Cygnet Hospital Derby announce appointment of Medical Director
It is with great pleasure that we can announce that Dr Mohammed Zaman will be joining Cygnet Hospital Derby on the 28th June 2010 as Medical Director.
He brings with him an extensive experience and strong reputation which will greatly assist in the development of clinical services at Cygnet Derby. He has practised both in General Adult Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry and has also held managerial positions in the NHS and was a Associate Medical Director for many years. Dr Zaman for the last 3 years has been practising in the Independent sector.
Dr Zaman comments-'I am happy to be joining Cygnet Health Care as Medical Director of the new purpose built hospital at Derby. I have witnessed the drive and enthusiasm displayed by a skilled and enthusiastic team who have a wealth of knowledge and experience with this service user group. I intend to work closely with the Hospital Manager Mark Varney and the Clinical Manager Guy Bannister to develop an excellent service user led care regime'.
