Dr Pavan Chahl joins the Cygnet Hospital Derby team
Cygnet Hospital Derby are pleased to announce that as of 2nd August 2010 Dr Pavan Chahl will be taking over Consultant Psychiatrist duties on Wyvern Unit. Wyvern Unit is Cygnet Hospital Derby's 16 bed male locked rehabilitation unit.
Dr Chahl has a proven track record in settling in quickly to new teams and further improving quality of care provision. He has a special interest in psychiatric rehabilitation and has been published numerous times. He is also a reviewer for 'The Psychiatrist'. Many of the audits conducted in the past by Dr Chahl have a special relevance to Male Psychiatric Rehabilitation for example:-Physical Examination standards, Adherence to NICE guidelines, Recording on HoNOS scales.
