Chloë Aldridge, an occupational therapist at Cygnet Hospital Stevenage, has raised over £1,800 for mental health charity Mind by running in this year's Berlin Marathon.
Initially inspired by the example of comedian and actor Eddie Izzard who has completed a staggering 43 marathons for charity, Chloë was also motivated by the work she does with service users at Cygnet Hospital Stevenage.
In her role of occupational therapist Chloë constantly encourages the individuals she works with to challenge themselves and explore outside their comfort zone. In her own words she felt it was "time to practice what I preach".
Chloë said the experience was amazing, particularly as she ran underneath the Brandenburg Gate to the sound of the crowd cheering on all the runners.
Well done to Chloë for her fantastic achievement.
