It is with great pleasure that we can announce that Cygnet Health Care has been added to the existing framework for the provision of female locked rehabilitation services to the East Midlands.
The service is located at Cygnet Lodge Brighouse, West Yorkshire, and is a step down unit for males and females that seeks to maximise an individual's quality of life and social inclusion. This is carried out through the provision of extensive therapy that encourage daily living skills and promotes independence in a homely but controlled access environment.
We bridge the gap between hospital and independent community living and reduce the possibility of the 'revolving door' syndrome by community re-integration following thorough risk assessment.
If you have any other questions about our admission criteria, please contact Cygnet Lodge Brighouse directly on 01484 405 900 and ask for Ward Manager Claire Buchan.
On the 11th of May 2010 we also launched the AIMS-Rehab quality network at Cygnet Lodge Brighouse. This is an exciting national project to which we have subscribed. Cygnet Lodge Brighouse is one of only sixteen pilots nationally, and we hope this will provide a forum for positive service development at the Lodge.
If you would like to arrange a visit to Cygnet Lodge Brighouse please call Richard Williams, the hospital manager on 01274 605500.
