26 March 2015: Cygnet Hospital Godden Green scores 94% in Quality Network review
Cygnet Hospital Godden Green's Saltwood Ward has scored 94% in a review by the Quality Network for Forensic Mental Health Services. Saltwood Ward, a low secure service for men, achieved 100% ratings in 6 of the 11 areas assessed.
24 March 2015: Service enhancements to Cygnet's new older adults hospital
Cygnet Hospital Taunton, formerly Orchard Portman House Hospital, became part of the Cygnet group on 6th February 2015. The hospital operates specialist mental health services for older men and women in 11 acres of grounds. In response to regional NHS customer feedback, we have begun a number of enhancements to the service provided at the hospital.
20 March 2015: Staff contribute over 300 eggs to JCI Bradford Easter Egg Appeal
Staff from Cygnet Hospital Wyke and Cygnet Lodge Brighouse have contributed a total of 302 eggs (including bunnies!) to the Junior Chambers International (JCI) Bradford Easter Egg Appeal. Originally launched in 2014 the JCI Bradford Easter Egg Appeal aims to bring a little bit of happiness at Easter time to disadvantaged families and children in Bradford.
13 March 2015: Cygnet service users joint winners of the Service User Choice Award
We are delighted to announce that the joint winners of the Service User Choice Award at the National Service User Awards 2015 were a service user from Cygnet Hospital Bierley, with 'Taking Back My Life' and service users from Cygnet Hospital Derby with their entry 'Wyvern Ward Social Enterprise Group'.
11 March 2015: Cygnet Hospital Beckton achieves Investors in People Bronze award
Cygnet Hospital Beckton is proud to announce that it has achieved the Investors in People Bronze award. The award follows two days of assessments and staff interviews on the 3rd and 4th March 2015. Staff celebrated the Bronze award with a tea party.
