25 July 2014: Nominations now open for the 2015 National Service User Awards!
Cygnet are delighted to one again be hosting the National Service User Awards and to announce that nominations are now open for the 2015 awards. Nominations can be from NHS or independent services and can be made by staff or service users.
23 July 2014: HMS Godden Green sets sail for Brazil
On Friday 18th July Cygnet Hospital Godden Green turned into HMS Godden Green and set sail for Brazil, the first leg of their 'World Cruise'. With the assistance of the catering, occupational therapy and education staff a Brazilian themed barbecue was put on with service users getting involved preparing decorations and the drinks menu.
22 July 2014: Cygnet Lodge Westlands achieves AIMS accreditation
We are pleased to announce that Cygnet Lodge Westlands is the latest Cygnet service to have achieved AIMS accreditation from the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
21 July 2014: Service user presents to nursing students at University of Lincoln
A service user from Cygnet Hospital Bierley, in conjunction with Cygnet's regional Involvement Co-ordinator Adam Stewart, recently delivered a presentation to second year mental health students at the University of Lincoln.
9 July 2014: Thirteen Cygnet calendar competition winners announced
We are delighted to announce the thirteen winners of the 2015 Cygnet Health Care calendar competition. The competition took place throughout all of our units nationwide. Service users were asked to submit any piece of artwork in any form. We received everything from paintings, to drawings, to cross stitch, to origami and pottery.
