26 May 2015: Allotment proving a hit with service users
A project to set up an allotment in the grounds of Cygnet Hospital Godden Green has proven to be a huge success with 13 out of the 15 service users on Saltwood Ward actively engaged in the project.

As part of our annual CPD events programme, Cygnet Health Care recently hosted the 'Users and Carers in Secure Services' conference at the Crowne Plaza in Birmingham city centre. Feedback was really positive with 98% of delegates rating the event good or excellent.

We are delighted to have appointed Julie Kerry as our Director of Nursing & Patient Experience. The new role is designed to provide board level leadership to Cygnet’s nursing and Allied Health Professionals (AHP) workforce, in order to provide the very best care possible, and improve the experience of every patient that comes into contact with Cygnet.

As part of an ongoing Quality Improvement Project to promote a safe and therapeutic environment, Cygnet Hospital Beckton recently held a ‘Least Restrictive Practice Awareness Week' for staff at the hospital.
